Michael is an artist living and working in rural Ontario. He is interested in painting the North American
landscape from a variety of perspectives, both physical and artistic. Light and tonality are the primary subjects of his
art and he is always experimenting with new techniques and materials in an effort to achieve the beautiful and
startling in his work. Although he exists in relative isolation from his peers and the tides of the art
world, he feels that his work remains relevant to art-lovers and collectors by virtue of its simplicity
and technical achievement. His art is found in hundreds of private, corporate, and public collections
worldwide. |
